My Skincare Routine

My Skincare Routine

I was never really the kind of person who took special care of my skin. But for the past few months I’ve been trying different products to find what works for my skin. I have an oily skin type, so finding something that works for my skin can be tricky. My routine is rather simple because, a) I don’t want to use that many products, and b) since I have classes in the morning, I don’t have a lot of time in the morning (because sleep is priority, am I right? ;P). Here’s what I use:

  1. Delicate Facial Cleanser: Kashmiri Saffron & Neem:

This  cleanser has Saffron which is used for glowing skin, and Neem is used for purifying and deep cleansing. I think this cleanser is rather gentle and it smells goods, the best part though is that it uses cornstarch instead of  sulphates to help with the formation of lather. An all natural formula, for a glowing skin.

2. Facial Tonic Mist: Pure Rosewater:

Usually people tend to avoid using toners, because it is said to have alcohol which dries out your skin. This product on the other hand has no alcohol, but instead has pure rosewater which has the properties for cooling, soothing and moisturizing your skin. This is also a really refreshing, fine mist. It can wake your skin up and hydrate it any time of the day.

3. Eladi Teenage Daycream:

This cream, with SPF 30, is enriched with Mukta Pishti (as stated on the packaging) is designed to help with regulating sebum production, which is problem faced with most teenagers, including myself. I must say, this cream along with the Kumkumadi Night cream has worked wonders. This pair of creams has helped reduce the oiliness of my skin faster than any product that I have ever used. This cream also comes with a wooden spoon, in order to maintain the hygiene. Plus it has some beautiful packaging.

4. Kumkumadi Teenage Night Cream:

A night cream is one of the most effective ways to revive your skin, because your body and skin heals while you sleep. This cream is surprisingly light for a night cream, and it is absorbed by your skin quite quickly which ticks off all the boxes. This with the day cream are definitely my new favourite  products. Plus, you only need a small amount of the product every time you apply, so it will definitely last a while, even though it comes in a rather small jar.

All these products are from Forest Essentials. I hope this review has helped you make a decision. This is definitely an investment since their products can be expensive, but I must say it is completely worth the money.

Thank youu for reading! Taking care of your skin, is not simply to look good on the outside, but also to feel good on the inside. Good skin, means confidence, which is what matters the most! Take care, and don’t ever let anyone dull your sparkle, or your glow!
